Dignity

"Be modest" ,"Be humble", "Be kind"

We hear these words often, but how often do we reflect on what they truly mean? What does it feel like to embody modesty, humility, and kindness? More importantly, how do they connect to the deeper concept of dignity?

Success and the Test of Humility

Think about every moment you’ve experienced pride—when you achieved something great, when people acknowledged your efforts, when victory felt like a crown on your head. It’s good to be proud, and it’s good to be acknowledged. Accomplishments deserve recognition.

But the real question is:

  • Did your success make you look down on others, or did it ground you?
  • Did pride turn into arrogance, or did it strengthen your humility?
  • Were you blinded by victory, or did you remain balanced?

If at any point your pride overpowered humility, don’t be too harsh on yourself. It’s human nature to feel thrilled by success. But what’s not okay is allowing that feeling to grow unchecked—when pride swells beyond control, it begins to erode dignity.

Grace: The Crown of True Dignity

James Russell Lowell once said, "Humbleness is always grace; always dignity."

True dignity does not come from titles, applause, or external validation—it comes from within. It is built on grace, the ability to carry oneself with humility even in moments of greatness.

The next time you achieve something, accept the recognition, feel the pride—but let grace be your companion. Success should refine you, not define you.

And grace?

It is your beauty. It is what makes dignity shine from within. It is not just something you possess—it is something you wear.

So, wear it with honor. Walk with it. Let it be the signature

Don't let your shadow overrule you.

For me being humble is to stop judging, how often do we judge others.every time I point the finger at someone 3 point back at me. Try it,
Be gracious in defeat even more so in victory. Be careful who you step on when on the way up, as you will meet the same people on the way down. A good lesson in practising humility.. do someone a good turn today, and don't get found out. Tell no one.live and let live. We only have control over ourselves in my humble opinion.

I second your opinion with addition to, c if we look ourselves first deeply, what is wrong in us rather than what is wrong with them...that's where our humility and humbleness starts off, ending up in not being judgmental.

Super Human

Do you feel trapped in your own thoughts?   Like your mind is a never-ending maze, filled with worries, doubts, and fears? What’s stopping you from breaking free? Pause. Breathe. You're overthinking again. That restless feeling, that voice whispering worst-case scenarios—it’s just another trick your mind is playing. But you are not your thoughts. You are the master of your mind, not its prisoner. So take control. MASTER your mental power. Whatever is weighing you down, let it go. Free your mind, free yourself. Let your heart take the lead—it knows the way. When you think with your heart, you find clarity. When you see with your heart, you recognize truth. When you listen with your heart, you understand beyond words. When you feel with your heart, you experience life fully. When you act with your heart, you move with purpose. When you speak with your heart, your words heal. "Think with your heart. See with your heart. Hear with your heart. Feel with your heart. Act with your he...

Fasting: A Discipline for the Body, A Feast for the Soul

"Fasting is not just a physical discipline, it can be a spiritual feast." Jentezen Franklin Across different religions and cultures, fasting has remained a common spiritual practice—one of the earliest forms of worship and meditation, a way to connect with the Divine. But why do we fast? How does it affect us psychologically? There is a theory that when a person fasts, their veins contract slightly, regulating blood flow. This balance is believed to help in maintaining overall well-being. But does "blood flow" really matter? And if so, how does it impact us? Consider an electric cooler: if the water supply is too fast or too slow, the system malfunctions. Similarly, fasting helps regulate our bodily functions. The human body is like a machine—it needs a steady but controlled flow of nutrients. When this system is maintained, the soul aligns, bringing mental clarity and emotional stability. Fasting helps us recognize how much nourishment our body truly needs and w...

Are you truly at peace? If your answer is yes , then why do you still feel lost? Why do you drift off track? Why do you find yourself stuck, living a life beneath your potential? "It is not death that a man should fear, but rather he should fear never beginning to live." — Marcus Aurelius Take a moment. Be still. Pause. Breathe in. Breathe out. Let go of distractions. Now, ask yourself: Am I content with who I truly am? True contentment is not about mere comfort or temporary happiness. It is a deep alignment of the soul, mind, and body. When these are in harmony, there is clarity. There is strength. There is a purpose that guides your every step. But if they are not… What is holding you back? Fear? Doubt? The weight of past regrets? The anxiety of the unknown? Life does not wait. It continues to move forward, whether you choose to grow with it or remain stagnant. The real question is: Are you truly living? If your soul, mind, and body are aligned… then embrace life as it un...
