Leadership

Right now, what it is that we need the most to cope with this situation? This global common enemy is eating every single one of us; if not by getting the virus... It's doing it's job by playing with are minds.

Many of you out there, are working from home, taking classes from home, even in some areas it's grocery from home.

The news gives us the daily update or I must say " daily mental dose".  It is not bad to watch news at all. But, the after effects of it is what's concerning. Limit your news time.  Yes...it tells you that it's spreading, with what rate and how its going to effect economy. How short are we getting on food. At the end they tell you the precautions. To balance off the bad effect you have taken.

If not news... What do we discuss the most right now? Cleansing houses? Storing food? Does anyone talks about getting motivated? Or Hope?

So, asking the same question again what do we need most now? What should we do? What part should we all play?

It's simple. We need a Leader in every house. Who should not just tell us how to  clean and all, but also show us the way to "Hope" in these dark times. We all need hope.

" The true test of a leadership is how well you function in crises." Brian Tracy

For instance, if someone is just not being able to focus on working from home, please tell them to take a break. Working with short breaks might help. Tell them they are doing good enough. People are losing jobs out there, at least working from home tells you that you still have job. Be " Grateful" in these time. "Cherish" what you have right now. Be thankful for everything you have. Your health, family, friends and partners.

If you are taking the precautions, why worry?  What you should do is "Meditate", "Rest and Relax", and most importantly "PRAY".

So, stay motivated and motivate people around you... show the way to others.Become a leader and create more leaders. Now is the time to act like one...

Great Poem and reminds me of another poem .... one written a long time ago, but it reminds us all that leadership is showing the way, not just telling the way .... Edgar Guest .... Sermons We See ..... http://www.yourdailypoem.com/listpoem.jsp?poem_id=2270 .... That poem changed me from a very confused position, to something I should have been all along, not just telling the way, but showing the way, a true leader. I can't lead if no one is following.
Great poem and thanks :)

Sermons We See

Edgar Guest

I'd rather see a sermon than hear one any day;
I'd rather one should walk with me than merely tell the way.
The eye's a better pupil and more willing than the ear,
Fine counsel is confusing, but example's always clear;
And the best of all the preachers are the men who live their creeds,
For to see good put in action is what everybody needs.

I soon can learn to do it if you'll let me see it done;
I can watch your hands in action, but your tongue too fast may run.
And the lecture you deliver may be very wise and true,
But I'd rather get my lessons by observing what you do;
For I might misunderstand you and the high advise you give,
But there's no misunderstanding how you act and how you live.

When I see a deed of kindness, I am eager to be kind.
When a weaker brother stumbles and a strong man stays behind
Just to see if he can help him, then the wish grows strong in me
To become as big and thoughtful as I know that friend to be.
And all travelers can witness that the best of guides today
Is not the one who tells them, but the one who shows the way.

One good man teaches many, men believe what they behold;
One deed of kindness noticed is worth forty that are told.
Who stands with men of honor learns to hold his honor dear,
For right living speaks a language which to every one is clear.
Though an able speaker charms me with his eloquence, I say,
I'd rather see a sermon than to hear one, any day.

So yes, don't just tell someone how to do something, show them, greater benefits for both :)
