The Choice Before You
Two doors stand before you.
One gleams with light, but beyond it lies a broken staircase. The cracks are visible, the gaps wide. You can see the danger—it’s right there, daring you to step forward. You know that if you take this path, you might fall. You might break. Yet, strangely, the light calls to you, as if blinding you from the risk ahead.
The other door is wrapped in complete darkness. You can’t see what’s behind it. No sign of what awaits, no hint of where the path leads. It is unknown, uncertain, and unpredictable.
Which do you choose?
Before you answer, pause. Breathe. Think.
Darkness does not always mean danger. Sometimes, it hides new beginnings. It forces you to move carefully, to rely on the light within rather than the light outside.
If you choose the dark door, you might struggle at first, unsure of where to place your next step. But if you trust yourself, if you let your instincts guide you, a path might reveal itself—one that was never visible before. You might discover strengths you never knew you had. You might realize that uncertainty is not an enemy, but a teacher.
And if you still choose the broken staircase? What does that say about you? That you were lured in by what you could see? That despite knowing the risk, you still stepped into a fall? Not all that glows is safe. Not all that is visible is wise.
Now, choose.
But once you choose, commit. There is no turning back. The moment of hesitation is over. Doubt is no longer an option.
This is your decision-making power. This is your moment. It’s now or never.
It’s choosing between fire and water.
Fire consumes. It burns bright, but it devours everything in its way. It doesn’t care who you are or where you’re going. It destroys, leaving only ashes behind.
Water, on the other hand, flows. It bends, adapts, carves through mountains, and finds its own way. It follows no single path, yet it always reaches its destination.
Choose water. Be flexible, be unbreakable. Let the obstacles shape you, not shatter you. Let the unknown be your adventure, not your fear.
Now is the time.
Decide. Step through. And never look back.
It's your decisiveness that makes you wise.
